Projected Reality consists of diverse photographs of new condominiums dominating the skyline of Toronto and juxtaposing them onto digital renderings of condominiums currently under construction. In other words, I visually compared reality with the “high gloss” pamphlets of developers. My images are often taken from the same angle allowing the viewer to easily compare the reality and, for lack of a better word, the deception. I hope that my work serves as a critical body of work that puts the uninhibited condominium growth in perspective with the somewhat false pretense of condominium developers.
